Fishing still remains excellent on Lake Sakakawea. We are still producing nice limits of walleye!
Fish have slid out much deeper in the past few weeks. Live bait rigs is still the presentation choice. Although if you want to try something new gibe jigging raps a shot. Definately a fun amd active way to fish if you want to try something different.

Fishing on Lake Sakakawea has really picked up on the East end of the Reservoir. Catching really nice 19" to 22" walleye in the creek arms of the bays. Target shallow and deep weedlines or the actual creek channel itself. Spinners & nightcrawlers seemed to out perform slow death and plain snells.

The bite on Lake Sakakawea continues to be incredible!! Mostly on the far west end.
West and East slides and north into Van Hook Arm has been most productive.
Trust your electronics. Graph fish, fish them!! Most fish seem to be coming from 10 to 20 ftow. This varies wind and sun. Crawlers and leeches seem to be producing the best. Good luck!
